Green List — Straight to Residence
Overview
Straight to Residence is for people with a job offer in an eligible Tier 1 Green List occupation. If you meet the role, qualification, and wage requirements, you can apply for residence without first completing a long period of temporary work in New Zealand — one of the fastest NZ PR pathways for highly skilled roles.
Eligibility Requirements
- Job offer in an eligible Straight to Residence (Tier 1) Green List occupation
- Meet the specific qualification, registration, and experience requirements for that occupation
- Meet the Green List wage threshold for the role
- Job with an accredited employer where required
- Meet English, health, and character requirements
